We’ve learned in coaching over the last several years that there is one common trait that all successful business owners have. Do you want to know what that is?
The trait I’m talking about is OPTIMISM!
Ask yourself these questions and see where you are:
How optimistic are you in the face of fear, doubt, procrastination, uncertainty and then facing that reality?
Can you still be optimistic when you face the reality of a setback? Are you still optimistic when you face the reality of something coming at you that you have no idea how to handle or move forward with? How do you deal with that?
What we see over and over in our clients that are successful and moving forward is they are optimistic even when they don’t have an answer yet.
- that it will work out;
- that they will figure it out;
- that their team will figure it out; and
- that they’ll make a way forward no matter what.
So where’s your level of optimism?
Is it a one?
Is it a 10?
Also, what’s fueling your optimism?
What are you doing to purposely daily fuel the optimism about the future?
There may be things in your life that you need to get rid of in your life once you realize it is actually draining your optimism tank.
For example, you need to be aware of what you’re reading, what you’re watching, who you’re spending time with. Are these people or things building up your optimism so that you can deal with the difficulties to come and turn those into great opportunities? Or, is what you are doing pulling you down and draining you?
