What’s the truth about your business?

What is it’s value?

What’s the purpose, product or service you bring to your customers?

What is in the way of solving your customer’s pain or problem?

Is this something that is going to change or evolve over the next 2-3 years?

The answer to all those questions about whether things are going to change or evolve is yes! It certainly will change, because as business in the world is speeding up, change is happening at a faster and faster pace.

So the purpose of the question “what is the truth about your business” is to see if you are prepared to take on these challenges of rapid and faster change as you go forward.

Have you ever looked at your product or service through the eyes of your customer and to the changes that are happening in their life? Have you anticipated what their changing needs are going to be six months from now, a year from now, or 18 months to 3 years from now? If not, then how are you going to get ahead of the curve? What are you doing to provide the solution that is going to be relevant and exciting to your customer around their pain or problem? What’s the solution you can bring to the table that’s going to be dramatically different than what it is today.

We want you to think about that. We want you to realize that this is where opportunity lies.

The companies that have the best future ahead of them are answering these questions and figuring it out. We’re excited to talk to you more about that. Thanks for reading today!

As we look at our businesses and what they are doing, sometimes we can fall into the trap of saying that we don’t have any choice in making a change that will take our business to the next level.

But you always have a choice.

Sometimes that choice is simply in how you respond or react to change, adversity or a particular situation.

And so, the first choice that we’re talking about today is to have a mindset to look at situations, difficulties, challenges, obstacles, barriers in your business as opportunities. The bigger, more difficult and the more challenging the situation or problem is, this can be the greatest opportunity for you to build the biggest and best future for you and your team in your business.

One of the ways we do this is to get really clear.

  • Identify.  Get out of your mind and onto a piece of paper exactly what this obstacle, barrier or challenge is.
  • What’s in the way. Decide what are all of the things around it that are preventing you from moving past it or finding a solution to go around it.
  • List them out. List each obstacle out or situation out so that you can break them down. Ask yourself the question for each one: What is a simple, basic thought to transform that barrier or obstacle?
  • First Step. What is a simple first solution or first step that would take us past, through or over the top of that obstacle?

A lot of our coaching is “thinking about your thinking” and being aware of how you’re reacting to challenges and problems in your company, business or corporation.

We work with people on this all the time, so I’d be curious to hear from you what currently is the biggest obstacle you’re facing in your business that you feel is keeping you from the next level.

What’s in the way?

Because if we can identify and work on that — we can also get clear about solutions and next steps. We can also get clear about the team (or group) and the resources, and what we need to do in order to get past this.

Today’s all about the choice, but you have to first choose that you’re going to think about these obstacles, barriers and problems in a whole new way. That’s the challenge today — think about what’s in your way. Let us know what that is and/or schedule a free consultation and let us take you through this little exercise and help you turn your obstacles into opportunities.

Make it a great day!

There are five questions you want to ask before you do anything in your business, and here’s why it’s so important to you. If you were to go into your business today and ask these five questions, by the end of the day your business would be transformed! Not only transformed in and of itself, but transformed in the way that it produces a result for you both financially and time wise.

So today we’re going to talk about these five questions.

First of all, think about one task that happens in your business every day that’s repetitive. This is a task that you are doing or perhaps a bunch of people in your company are doing every day. Then ask yourself these questions:

  1. Can this task be eliminated?

  2. Can this task be delegated to somebody else?

  3. Can this task be automated?

  4. Can this task be outsourced?

  5. Can this task simply be done in a more efficient way?

By asking these questions and looking at every task that you, your team or your employees are doing, you will be transforming your company.

We do this with businesses all the time and are amazed at what we find in efficiencies, gains, time saving and profit making by just simply going through every little task and repurposing it and putting it through this process — we call the time filter.

This is just a little tip we’d love you to try today. Let us know how it works. If you’d like to learn more about it you can reach us email or by scheduling  a free consultation.

The Time Solution is a coaching process that we use with our clients. It is basically used to address the one thing that 90% of businesses have never accounted for in their business and that is:

How, why and where are they using their time

By having an actual audit or accounting system of time, you can make sure everybody in the business is aware that time is actually of more value than the money or the capital that’s being invested in the business.

We’ve created this process to teach and coach people how to capitalize on their time. In our process, we show that by saving 15 minutes a day, an average company over the next couple of years, can reinvest that time into profit making time and actually turn that into a million dollars for the business owner. It’s a transformational process, and it’s a process that only takes 90 days to do. It makes you look at time like you look at your checkbook — like you look at your financial statement — like you look at all the other investments you make. It also teaches, trains and helps everyone on your team to look at time and evaluate it in the way that it should be valued. If we use our time wisely, and we use it better and more effectively than our competitors, then we have an unfair advantage over everyone else in our industry.

Yet time is the one thing that nobody accounts for. Everybody’s always talking about saving money in their business, company or corporation, but nobody ever sits down and talks about how they can save time. Time actually equals, if repurposed, into the most profitable activity you can do. So sit down and have this conversation. Look at the process. Ask the difficult questions and actually start to get a phenomenal 10x return on your time.

If you’re interested in an introduction to The Time Solution, you can have a 60 minute free consultation with us at Confidence Coach to learn more.

Have you ever thought about time as a tool just like you? You have tools in your business – computers, machines, trucks, etc. — all different kinds of things that you have in your business that are tools that help you be more productive. They help you create an experience or a product for your clients.

I’ll ask you again — Have you thought about your time as a tool? If you have a tool, you know you want that tool to operate at its optimum capacity, and if time is your greatest tool, are you connecting your time and the most productivity? What is the One Thing today that will improve your confidence? We’re going to talk about confidence again and focus on one thing or one habit perhaps. What would be a confidence habit that you could create that would serve you the rest of your life to improve, increase and protect your confidence? For me it’s sleeping. It’s exercise. It’s reading good material. It’s coaching. It’s being in front of people live or virtually and coaching them, encouraging them, giving them confidence, and transforming their experience.

But what does that look like for you and what is that one habit. Now we talked a couple of weeks ago about what gives you confidence; but what’s the one thing? It’s like a rocket booster for your confidence that you could put into your life everyday. You can invest the time — maybe it’s five minutes, maybe it’s 15 minutes, maybe it’s longer than that.

But what’s the return on investment if we invested in that One Thing that gives you confidence? I’d love to hear from you what that One Thing is and how you’re applying it.

What the Habit is, what it does for you, and how you’ve used it in the past. Think about times when you’ve really had a lot of confidence and you’ve been able to do some amazing things.

What was the thing that triggered that…

So we’re looking for for that One Thing, that one habit, that one trigger and then, we’re looking to build that into our life every day.

Who or what is messing with your confidence?

Have you ever thought about this? Last week we talked about what gives you confidence, and we focused on that.

Confidence gives us the ability to achieve, grow and to be all the things that we want to be.

But one of the areas that you need to think about in the area of confidence is — who’s messing with your confidence? What is messing with your confidence? Is there a negative person in your life or maybe you’re not getting enough sleep? Could it be that you feel like you’re overweight or you’re out of shape and that’s the thing that’s messing with your confidence? Maybe it’s a mess in your life — maybe some mess in your garage or at your office or maybe it’s a difficult conversation that you’ve procrastinated on for 3 to 6 months or even a year. Maybe your confidence is being drained by not making a decision that you need to make to move forward. Get back to me and send me an email about what’s messing with your confidence or schedule a free consultation. I’d love to talk to you about it.

At Confidence Coach we talk and teach about confidence all the time. Here’s a question for you today:  Have you ever stopped and thought about what gives you confidence in your business and in your personal life?

And then: What kind of activities, thinking or things do you do that bring you confidence? Are the people that you are around helping to give you confidence?

The reason why this is so important is if we have our confidence growing, then we’re able to grow the rest of our life. We’re also able to grow our business or personal relationships and everything gets bigger and better.

But without confidence, without greater confidence, and continued confidence, we can get stuck or we can even go backwards!

So, I want you to think today about three things that give you confidence and send me an email to share your answers with me. Here’s a few examples — Maybe it’s a good night’s rest; reading a book; exercising; calling that prospect that you’re afraid to call; it might be leading a meeting at your company; how about that new joint venture that you’ve put together; or maybe a date night with your wife; maybe going to your kid’s ball game or it could be a million different things.

But think about it, and let me know what gives you confidence or schedule a free appointment to talk about it.

Here’s a thought for you: Business and marriage aren’t really all that different. There’s one common success principle in both scenarios: The more we think about serving others, the more successful our business and marriage becomes. The Bible says the greatest among you will be the one who serves the most people, which makes me think of today’s fastest growing companies: places like Airbnb, Facebook, Google, and Uber. They find ways to serve millions of people, in often the most basic ways, and that service is getting them results. I think of the best long-term marriages I know, and they all have one thing in common: They’re thinking about serving their spouse every day, for a lifetime.

Service and success are married — and service is the key to the results that you want.
